The Salsa Lady in San Tan Valley

Came from out of town and went looking for some good food. the place is a little out of the way but will worth the drive, best mix of Mexican and a variety of other food. The salsa was fresh and some of the best we have had.

We often come here for our meals. She has delicious foods! She marinates the grilled chicken & it's tasty. I only had menudo once in my life & hated it but I tried her menudo & loved it! Try her specials. We always do. Lol

Very good salsa. The food was good too...only complaint would be my nachos became soggy within a few minutes. Service was great,so overall, I would recommend it!

This place is a hidden gem! The owner and manager are extremely friendly and the food was great! The only thing missing is alcohol.

The red sauce is amazing...Would love to have a fountain drink - Pepsi with ice in a big plastic cup makes the mealA little confusing - is it sit down, is it counter service, is it help myself...Even with the oddities it doesn't really matter that much as the food speaks for itself....

Great food, great salsa! Been a big fan since she sold salsa on the side of the road. Only disappointment is I now live 2 1/2 hours away. Need to move to Camp Verde!

Authentic Mexican Food!!! Every generous portions and priced fairly. Food was excellent.

Starting with no ice for drinks, and everything was way over priced.

I met the Salsa Lady several years ago when my daughter and her granddaughter were running track together.at that time she was going to school for Law and had this crazy idea of selling salsa. I remember when she was selling on the side of the street or in front of Walmart many many different ways of trying to get her salsa out to the public and now look she has a great store and you know what still great salsa the wife and I today went and got the medium salsa and the fresh chips A1.Happy she has a location, right near Lola's Empanadas. Definitely worth the drive

This was a great little Mexican restaurant. However, the restaurant has closed permanently and is no longer in business!

The Salsa Lady is worth the drive. I would happily drive/ride across the state to get some of what she's got going on. This place is legit! I recently heard about The Salsa Lady from a friend, so I had to give it a try and I'm so happy I did. Everyone there was super friendly from the moment I walked in. I ordered more food than I could stomach because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. Well.... a little bit of everything wasn't enough for me so I kept eating. I'm about to go into a food coma. Everything I tried is superb! I would definitely give this place a higher rating if I could. Anyone that would give this place a bad rating is out of their mind. Try the salsa.... all of it! I will be back very soon to try more of what they have to offer.

Reasonable prices, large servings, no frills atmosphere, great food!

This place is so good! I got a side of their guacamole salsa and wanted more but she doesn’t make it in a big quart like her other salsas lol. The taco salad was so fresh and tasty! Definitely will be back! Her menu is online on her personal fb page so it’s kinda hard to see but we just pulled up and asked to see one.

The most amazing Mexican food I've ever had. The Nasty Nachos are big enough to feed a small Army. Cherie's homemade salsas are the absolute best and there is a great selection. Her Fry Bread, both savory and sweet, are fantastic. She's always busy but takes the time from making everything from scratch to say hi. Best place to eat in Pinal County and specifically San Tan Valley and Queen Creek.

The Owner is awesome. She will ask you what you want as she cooks for you. Salsa is great. Chips are homemade. Great for families. I highly recommend this to all.

Always love going in there. The best salsa in the world. Last Saturday went in for some food and Cherie made her first shrimp tostada for me and it was AWESOME, with a nice little kick too it. Salsa is the best, we need to get her salsa into the stores!!!!! She has come a long ways with her salsa and would like too see it go even bigger!! Good luck!!

Cherie greeted us personally to introduce herself and give us some history on her self-owned business. She takes a lot of pride in her restaurant and you can taste it!

First time eating here. It was really good. I highly recommend! Only 7 min drive from my house so that was nice. Owner is a very sweet lady who greeted me and shook my hand. Definitely going back.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted immediately with a smile, followed by the menu....my fiancé got the burrito and I had the enchiladas! The chips and salsa were AMAZING...The food was delicious!!! Every thing taste freshly made! The rice was perfect! the customer service was AMAZING the owner her self came to welcome us and shared her story with us about the restaurant...she is so humble and nice my daughter even got to make a funnel cake with her! Definitely a memorable experience! Made us feel like family instead of just customers... We will definitely be back to have more delicious food ! :) highly recommend this place :)

Decided to visit The Salsa Lady...what a great experience. Cherrie is the nicest lady you'll ever meet. The food amazing and after telling her about a green salsa ingredients and such that i was looking to try, she went back to the kitchen and made it on the spot. Made me feel so special! I will be back for the sunday breakfast... I highly recommend it. Thank you CHERRIE!

Such a cute place, the staff was very friendly and owner goes above and beyond. Great food great prices. We got the burrito we and it was more than enough for me and my husband to split and there be left overs. Will be going back. Real authentic good food. Thank you so much.

The food was FRESH. The service was great, well if seating yourself, grabbing your own plastic silverware, and drinks is your thing. The food was FRESH. Drinks are in a can. Food was FRESH. Salsa was better than most in town, and with a name like Salsa Lady well it better right. Not a lot on the menu but that's fine because it's all great. No take out menus, not a lot going for this place other than the food was REALLY good. The cost is only reason I did not give it five stars. I'll be back for sure because the food was better than most in the area, actually puts a few places to shame.

Portion was so huge 3 or 4 of us could have eaten it. I had the "nasty nachos" I had to take it home, but it didn't travel too well and got quite soggy. I was told by the Salsa Lady herself to put it into a frying pan to heat it up and pour scrambled eggs over the top. I did that and added cheese and her medium salsa and it was the best. I made it again today without the eggs and I liked it just as much. The salsa is heavenly! The decor needs help, but with great food who's looking at the decor?

The 4 of us stopped in for lunch after buying Cherie's salsa. One of our group said that his enchiladas were the best he's ever had & praised the sauce on top (which was a dark, almost mole color), burritos, tacos & quesadillas rounded out our lunch. Nicely done, fresh ingredients, more Americanized, but good food! If you have a hankering for sweets, they have 2. We shared the Chocolate Chip. YumFriendly service too!

Very good food, however, service is poor. There were only 2 employees (the salsa lady herself and another woman) making food and taking orders which put stress on them and they came off rude and unprofessional. If they had more help in the kitchen this place would be 5 stars. Anyways, the salsa is amazing.

Amazing authentic Mexican food! Cherie knows her stuff and makes you feel right at home from the second you walk in the door. Everything we had from the stuffed quesadilla to the street tacos were so yummy. Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back and try something else.
